The trees are in their autumn beauty,
The woodland paths are dry,
Under the October twilight the water
Mirrors a still sky;

The nineteenth Autumn has come upon me
Since I first made my count;

All suddenly mount
And scatter wheeling in great broken rings

I have looked upon those brilliant creatures,
And now my heart is sore.
All’s changed since I, hearing at twilight,
The first time on this shore,
The bell-beat of their wings above my head,
Trod with a lighter tread.
Unwearied still, lover by lover,
They paddle in the cold,
Companionable streams or climb the air;
Their hearts have not grown old;
Passion or conquest, wander where they will,
Attend upon them still.
But now they drift on the still water
Mysterious, beautiful;
Among what rushes will they build,
By what lake’s edge or pool
Delight men’s eyes, when I awake some day
To find they have flown away?
Why can someone write like that--it is really unfair.
The hurrying tumbling waves, quick-broken crests,
slapping,
The strata of colored clouds, the long bar of ma-
roon-tint away solitary by itself, the spread
of purity it lies motionless in,
The horizon's edge, the flying sea-crow, the fra-
grance of salt-marsh and shore-mud;
These became part of that child who went forth
every day, who now goes, and will always
go forth every day,
And these become of him or her that peruses
them now.

hello people out there meaning anyone who actually still reads this. i appreciate your patronage. i have been doing nothing. i am sick. i havent shaved in about a week because who really shaves when they feel like shit- thats right no one. dustin came to my house last night which was good after our break-up. we hung out with alex. there was no fighting of any sort. we made a rule that neither of us can leave if one of us is mad or upset. it is a good new rule. today john and i hung out and did absolutely nothing. ok i just went and got a tape from rocky because the dvd froze up and wtf this one doesnt work either. im going to flip out.
i will leave you with this:

Next year he did not come for her. She waited in a new frock because the old one simply would not meet; but he never came.
“Perhaps he is ill,” Michael said.
“You know he is never ill.”
Michael came close to her and whispered, with a shiver, “Perhaps there is no such person, Wendy!” and then Wendy would have cried if Michael had not been crying.
Peter came next spring cleaning; and the strange thing was that he never knew he had missed a year.

W.B. Yeats why must you be so good it is really unfair.
My mother is making falafels. I can't really remember if I like those or not. I can't really remember a lot of things. What the hell is my dad watching on tv- there are a bunch of people bleeding and punching a punching bag in a bar. This is quality programming. Ah TNT... that could explain it. My thoughts are kind of scattered. Okay they are a lot scattered. I watched the Live8 concert yesterday. It was almost too much to take. It was one of those fascinatingly tragic things from which you want to avert your eyes, but you know you would be worse for not seeing it than you would be for seeing it.
Man what am I even saying. Does anyone even read this anymore. I'm so tired.

Today will be a good day. At 1:00 I'm going to see Mandy because I haven't seen her in entirely too long. I've missed her. Then I have just little random stuff to do all day. Tonight I'm going to eat with Irfan, Meagan, Wesley, Alyson, and Craig. Then we're going to the fireworks. Yes that is right folks- the Fourth of July fireworks are tonight so if you didn't know, you might want to make plans to attend.
Ok now to be serious, last time Irfan came home he said he was going to have to go to Iraq in July. Of course then that seemed like such a distant time and wasn't even plausible. Well here we are in July. Ok nevermind, I thought I could talk about this but nevermind. Just everyone think about him or pray or something if that's what you do.

It's hot in here.
I love these commercials with the poser phone people. I really never have any idea what's going on in any of them but they always amuse me. Oh wow I just saw the worst commercial of my life for digital phone service from TWC- what a waste of my life. Anyway- I will spend no more time dwelling on that. I'm about to go eat with Alex Keith Carroll who is pretty much the love of my life.
I have more to say but I'm bored now so I'll come back and edit this later.
